Pending approval by the Monroe Local Schools Board of Education, Jason Frazier will be named the next Girls Varsity Basketball Coach at Monroe High School.
The Monroe High School Athletic Department is excited to announce that Jason Frazier will be named the next Varsity Girls Basketball Coach, pending approval by the Monroe Local Schools Board of Education.
With over 20 years of coaching experience, Coach Frazier has a wealth of experience serving in leadership roles from the youth to collegiate levels. Most recently Coach Frazier served as the Monroe Junior High School 8th Grade Girls Basketball Coach this past season. Prior to that he served as a Varsity Assistant Coach for the Girls Basketball Program at Lakota West High School during the 2023-24 school year under longtime Head Coach Andy Fishman.
Additionally, Coach Frazier has previously held Varsity Head Coaching positions at Caverna Independent School in Kentucky (Girls Basketball), Hardin County Schools in Kentucky (Baseball), Madison High School (Baseball) and Preble Shawnee High School (Baseball). He also served as an Assistant Baseball Coach at both Hanover College and the University of Dayton. Coach Frazier has also coached in the Dayton Lady Hoopstars program since 2015 and been involved in various capacities with the Monroe Lady Swarm Youth Basketball Program.
Coach Frazier is dad to three daughters with his wife Samantha. His two oldest daughters are graduates of Monroe High School where they were multi-sport athletes.
There will be a player & parent informational meeting for current 6th through 11th graders interested in playing basketball next school year on Wednesday, March 26 at 7:15pm in the Monroe High School Cafeteria.
